Biography

Heba Souliman is the Senior Teaching Technician and Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) in the Department of Physics, in the Faculty of Natural Mathematical and Engineering Sciences, King's College London.

In this role since 01/06/2022. She Works closely with the Faculty Technical Manager and the lead academic to ensure technical support for the faculty is professional, well-executed and timely – complying with university policies, funders’ terms and conditions, and adopting best practices.

Duties: 

  • Provide a comprehensive technical support service for the physics undergraduate teaching labs.
  • Responsible for delivering and managing a range of technical services.
  • Manage/ supervise undergraduate teaching facilities and operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Implement and monitor safe working practices in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Advise on future physical resource requirements in the area of responsibility.
