Senior Student Experience Officer
Biography
Helen Chapman is a Senior Student Experience Officer in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences, King's College London.
In this role, she works as part of the student experience team to support the faculty's departments to deliver student engagement initiatives that aim to build and strengthen the student community and ultimately enhance the experience of students within the faculty.
Helen has worked at King's College London since 2011 and holds a BSc Hons in Psychology from Cardiff University.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Developing and supporting student experience projects in the Faculty
- Creating a fortnightly NMES Student Bulletin promoting events and opportunities and providing timely advice and guidance
- Supporting departments with Welcome and Inductions and coordinating faculty-level Welcome activities
- Coordinating student prizes and organising the faculty's annual prize-giving ceremony
- Working closely with the Student Societies associated with the Faculty
- Managing and coordinating the annual rollover, review and updating of department student handbooks
