Henrique is the Engineering Teaching & Research Technician in the Faculty of Natural Mathematical & Engineering Sciences.

With a foundation in mechanical engineering, he has an innovative approach to problem-solving. He has extensive work experience and expertise in product development, manufacturing tools, machinery, continuous improvement techniques, and work control skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide support of any kind to ensure that the teaching and research laboratories within the Department of Engineering run smoothly and efficiently.

Support managing and overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and repair, inventory management, and safety compliance.

Develop training materials, SOPs and RAs for shared equipment and provide hands-on training and supervision for the faculty, researchers, and students to ensure that everyone who uses the equipment is able to do so with competence.
