PGR Manager (PhD Operations)

Biography

Hope Margetts is the PGR Manager (PhD Operations) in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences, King's College London. Prior to this she worked in programme management roles at Regent’s University London. Hope holds a PhD in French Studies from Royal Holloway University of London.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of Senior PGR Officers addressing short- and long-term strategic PGR priorities.
  • Coordinating and implementing PGR policy in the NMES Faculty.
  • Ensuring transparent, fair and consistent practice is applied across the NMES PGR support service.
  • Developing and supporting student experience initiatives
  • Monitoring supervisor training and coordinating PGR training and development.
  • Providing support to the Senior PGR Manager to improve PGR administration and ways of working.
