Biography

Huimin Chong is a Research Assistant at King’s College London, contributing to the research on artificial intelligence in nursing under the supervision of Dr Siobhán O'Connor. She completed her MSc at the University of Edinburgh and is currently a PhD candidate there, exploring the knowledge, awareness, attitudes, and considerations of parents of children of different genders towards HPV vaccination in pilot areas in China.

Huimin has extensive experience in mixed methods research, with expertise in children and young people's health and nursing. In addition to her role at KCL, she is leading the design and delivery of a student wellbeing project at the University of Edinburgh to enhance postgraduate students’ wellbeing.

Huimin is passionate about improving the health of children and young people and advancing nursing practice through the use of digital and AI technologies.
