Huinan holds a PhD in Psycholinguistics from the University of Oxford. Before joining King’s College London, she worked at Google Research, contributing to user experience research on multimodal AI.

At King’s, Huinan is part of the Digital Innovation for Student Success team, where she leads the research, development, and management of generative AI products and features that support staff and students, with a focus on Responsible AI practices to ensure safe, transparent, and ethical innovation.
