Together with her colleagues, she has secured funding from the Leverhulme Trust as well as a research grant from GIZ (German International Cooperation).

Prior to joining King’s College London, she was an Assistant Professor at the Halle Institute for Economic Research and the Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany, and a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol.
