Dr. Ines Willemyns is Lecturer in Digital Law at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London. Her work focuses on digital trade law, global digital regulation, and international economic law. Ines’ research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of International Economic Law, the European Journal of International Law and the Journal of World Trade. Her monograph on Digital Services in International Trade Law was published with Cambridge University Press in 2021. Ines holds a Ph.D. from KU Leuven.

Prior to joining King’s, she was a Teaching Fellow and Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School, where she taught in and helped co-organize the International Economic Law, Business, and Policy (IELBP) LL.M. program, together with Professor Alan Sykes. Before joining Stanford Law School, Ines practiced EU and international trade law as a senior associate in the Brussels offices of Baker McKenzie and Sidley Austin. Ines is fully qualified to practice in Belgium. Ines also interned at the Appellate Body Secretariat of the WTO in 2019.
