Biography

Inmaculada Sillero Viloita joined King’s College London Language Centre in 2018.

She completed her BA in English and Arabic and Islamic studies (2015) at Universidad de Cadiz, Spain and MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (2016) at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Spain.

Inmaculada Sillero Viloita delivers Spanish language modules across undergraduate, postgraduate, and external programmes, applying communicative and task-based methodologies aligned with the CEFR framework. Her teaching spans all proficiency levels and focuses on real-life interaction, cultural awareness, and inclusive learning. Her classes are known for being interactive, inclusive, and student-centred. Inmaculada regularly leads skills-based workshops to support student success, such as oral and written exam preparation and speaking practice for beginner learners. She also promotes cultural enrichment through sessions on topics like Flamenco and Hispanic identity, helping students connect language learning with cultural context. Committed to continuous development, she contributes to staff training through workshops on inclusive language, accessibility in education, and the use of educational technologies such as gamification. Her work in these areas supports equitable access and enhances student experience. Her approach reflects a strong commitment to innovation, diversity, and academic excellence.
