Dr Isabel Sassoon is currently a Visiting Research Associate on the CONSULT project. Prior to this she was a Research Associate and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Informatics at King’s College London. Prior to joining King’s College London Isabel worked for more than 15 years as a data science consultant in industry, including 8 years in SAS. Isabel read Statistics, Operations Research and Economics at Tel Aviv University and has received a PhD in Computer Science from King’s College London.

Isabel's research interests are in the area of data driven automated reasoning. Specifically she is interested in applying artificial intelligence approaches, such as computational argumentation, to making existing statistical models more transparent and explainable.
