Biography

Isabel Simoes-Rodrigues is a native Portuguese speaker who graduated from the University of Westminster with a BA in Modern Languages, Spanish and English in 1996. Isabel went on to study for an MA in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies at King’s College London in 2003. Isabel has 22 years of experience in teaching Portuguese. She joined King’s College London as a teacher of Portuguese in 2001. Isabel has been passionate about literature since she was a child. The love of words led her to write short stories and to learn foreign languages. She speaks and reads in five different languages. Isabel is also very interested in art, cinema and theatre, and in making use of literature and cinema in her language classes.
