Jacob Neeves is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Dr Hannah Mischo’s lab, studying how transcription termination is modulated in influenza A infected cells. Jacob trained as a veterinarian and then transitioned into scientific research, undertaking his PhD plus a short postdoc at UCL / the Francis Crick Institute under the supervision of Prof Rickie Patani, studying RNA dysregulation in human motor neuron disease.
