Biography
Jacqui took a degree of Arts in Asian Studies, majoring in Japanese Language from Adelaide University in South Australia. In 2011 she complete the DipTESOL, and this year she has is taking Applied Linguistics MA with Open University.
Jacqui taught on the International Foundation for Medicine & Biomedical Sciences with INTO St George’s University of London from 2016-17, and has taught English in London since 2009. She has spent several years teaching on preparation courses for FCE, CAE and CPE while also teaching on language assistance courses for students at the CASS Business School in partnership with St Giles London Central for three years.
She is really into her fitness and weightlifting, coaching part-time at a gym in Clapham. She has an avid interest in circus skills and practices acrobalance and corde-lisse. Jacqui's love of languages and travel saw her spend a year in Tokyo while at high school, going on to work in Shanghai as a children's English teacher for two years after graduating.
Her current areas of research interest are student motivation and the influence and application of technology in language teaching.
