Biography
Jan Frederik Weißler is a PhD Student under the supervision of Dr Georg Rohringer in the Department of Physics at King's College London. He obtained his master's degree in physics at the University of Hamburg, where he was a member of the groups 'Quantum Theory of Condensed Matter' and 'Quantum field theory for correlated many-particle systems'.
Research Interests
- Strongly correlated electron systems
- Magnetic order
- High-temperature superconductivity
Thesis title and abstract
Nonlocal correlation effects in magnets and high-temperature superconductors
Research

Theory & Simulation of Condensed Matter
Research is focused on the theory of condensed matter, and in particular the development and application of advanced theoretical and modelling techniques suitable for the study of complex materials and molecular systems and processes.
