Biography

Jasmin is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases & Medical Microbiology and splits her time working at Kings College Hospital NHS Trust and at the United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA) in the Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare Associated Infections Division. Her research interests involve applied health research focused on tackling NHS Winter Pressures, infections in Critical Care, improving antimicrobial stewardship to reduce resistant infections and pandemic preparedness.

She is the head of UKHSA ICU infection surveillance team and co-leads the NIHR AMR Health Protection Research Unit Patient and Public Engagement programme. She sits on the NICE Antibiotic Subscription Model Panel and is a trustee council member for the Healthcare Infection Society.
