Biography

Jayla Mehmet is the Executive Assistant to Professor Kim Wolff, Head of the Drug Control Centre and Director of King’s Forensics, within the Department of Analytical, Environmental & Forensic Sciences at King’s College London.

Jayla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and has over eight years of experience supporting senior leaders across higher education and professional services. Jayla specialises in managing complex executive operations, including strategic diary management, board-level coordination, stakeholder engagement, and international travel.

Jayla brings expertise across event delivery, HR and financial processes, and is recognised for streamlining systems, improving efficiency, and enabling senior leadership to focus on strategic priorities.
