
Biography
Jen Angel is Director of Strategy for the Afe Babalola Centre for Transnational Education at King’s, where she leads the Centre’s development, working to expand access to high‑quality education for learners across Africa and beyond.
Her role centres on bringing colleagues and partners together to translate the Centre’s vision into tangible initiatives and develop practical innovations that enable the delivery of transformational education at scale.
Jen came to this role building on her time as Director of International Strategy & Planning, where she led on major strategic initiatives and long‑term institutional planning at King’s for nearly ten years. Before joining King’s, Jen practised as an independent strategy and management consultant, drawing on a decade in a range of roles across the creative, cultural and knowledge sectors, experiences she continues to value for the breadth of experience and perspectives they provide and bring to her present work.
Jen holds an MBA in Strategy & Information Technology Management from Bayes Business School, an MLitt in Modern History from the University of Oxford, and a BA from Wellesley College. Jen became an Associate of King’s College in 2018.
