Biography
Jennie is a registered nurse working at St Mark’s Hospital and a PhD student at King’s College London. Jennie has worked in the field of colorectal nursing for over 20 years; in stoma care, gastrointestinal research, enhanced recovery after surgery and currently as a nurse educator.
Research interests:
Jennie is currently undertaking research into the management of bowel symptoms after sphincter-preserving surgery for rectal cancer.
Jennie runs a number of modules on topics related to the gastrointestinal tract. Jennie also teaches and facilitates a number of study days run at St Mark’s Hospital.
