Biography

Jennifer leads the communications for the Maximising UK Adaptation to Climate Change (MACC) Hub at King’s College London, a UK-wide knowledge exchange and coordination initiative funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Her role involves shaping and delivering the Hub’s communications plan, developing compelling narratives, and ensuring clear, engaging dissemination of the Hub’s work to key stakeholders across policy, academia and practice. She oversees digital content, social media, events promotion and strategic campaigns that spotlight the Hub’s impact and drive public and professional engagement on climate adaptation.

Jennifer has over seven years’ experience working across a range of communications and marketing roles, primarily within the charity sector. Her work has included everything from digital campaigns and influencer engagement to internal communications and brand development. Earlier in her career, she completed the Teach First Leadership Programme and taught English in a secondary school —a challenging and rewarding experience that continues to shape her approach to inclusive and impactful communication.

She is particularly interested in creative, purposeful communications that make complex ideas accessible and engaging for a wide range of audiences, using storytelling, visual content and digital platforms to build connections, foster understanding and drive positive change.
