Biography

Jiaming is a PhD student with research interests in the socio-economic cascading effects of climate disasters and climate adaptation strategies. She holds a Master’s degree in Energy Economics from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from the China University of Petroleum – Beijing.

With a background in economics, extreme climate events, and policy analysis, she is dedicated to exploring solutions for climate resilience. Jiaming is funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and has received the National Scholarship of China and been recognized as an Outstanding Graduate of Beijing.

She also served as a volunteer for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and completed internships at the Economics & Technology Research Institute of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy at Tsinghua University.
