Biography

In this role Jo enables Faculty compliance with College quality assurance processes, providing advice and guidance on regulatory matters and implementation of policies.

Jo has oversight of the programme and module approval and amendment processes, as well as managing annual monitoring and periodic programme reviews and supporting departments undertaking accreditation events.

Jo also has oversight of the operation of assessment boards, working closely with the Faculty Assessment Board and Sub-Board Chairs, and managing the external examiner and appeals processes in the Faculty.

Jo has 28 years of experience in higher education and worked at the University of Greenwich in various quality assurance and curriculum management roles before joining King’s College in 2020.

Jo has a BA (Hons) Open from the Open University and a Certificate in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
