Biography

J. David Thompson is a U.S. Army Civil Affairs officer. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University School of Law and is a PhD candidate at King’s College London. Outside of the military and academia, he has professional experience with Physicians for Human Rights, the World Bank, and the United Nations Refugee Agency.

David’s research focuses on the ethics of proxy warfare, irregular warfare's “by, with, and through.”
