Jonathan joined the e-Research department at King's in September 2025 as a member of the Research Software Engineering (RSE) team. His role currently focuses on developing the Navigator web portal for PharosAI, a project to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation AI models for cancer diagnosis and drug discovery.

Jonathan has spent the last 13 years in Research Software Engineering roles in academia. Prior to joining King's, he worked at University College London and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where he developed open-source electronic data capture (EDC) systems to manage data collection for clinical trials across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Before that, he spent almost a decade at the Virtual Engineering Centre, transforming cutting-edge research into robust, impactful software.

Jonathan holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool.
