Joseph Cattell is an accredited psychotherapist and registered adult nurse with many years of clinical experience in the NHS and university sector. He is currently a Clinical Trials Therapist with the Psychoactive Trials Group at King’s College London, working on a range of psychedelic clinical trials investigating affective and anxiety disorders.

Joseph is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems, and has contributed to numerous mental health clinical trials as a therapist, nurse, and study coordinator, which have been published in journals including The New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet.

Alongside his role as a lead facilitator at the Maudsley Psychedelic Society Integration Group, Joseph is a lead training consultant for Headworks mental health consultancy. He also runs a private therapy practice, offering psychotherapy and psychedelic integration support.
