
Biography
Joshua Brown is a Research Associate in the Department of Surgical and Interventional Engineering at King's College London. His work lies at the intersection of robotics, human-computer interaction and medicine.
Joshua's primary research interest is in haptics. He is also active in the areas of digital manufacturing, personalised medical devices, robotics for muscular rehabilitation and information visualisation.
Joshua is also a Research Fellow in the Hamlyn Centre at Imperial College London and a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. He is Chief Engineer and co-founder of Human Robotix Ltd.
He completed his MEng degree in Electronic and Information Engineering at Imperial College London in 2018 and obtained a PhD in Haptics from Queen Mary University of London in 2024. He has previously been a visiting researcher at York University in Canada and Seoul National University in South Korea.
