
Biography
Kalila Bohsali is the Digital Education Manager for the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences at King’s College London. In this role, she supports a range of digital education initiatives, helping to enhance teaching and learning through technology. She works closely with staff across the Faculty’s five departments to support innovation in education and ensure the smooth coordination of digital projects.
Before joining King’s, Kalila held academic and professional roles in Higher Education and the US Civil Service. Most recently, she was the Programme Manager for the Borough Based Jails project at the New York City Department of Correction. Prior to that, she worked at the University of New Mexico’s Centre for Teaching and Learning, where she served as a project manager, tutor, and digital learning liaison. She has also taught courses in English, Literature, and Technical Writing.
Kalila holds a PhD in English Literature Pedagogy, as well as a BA in English and French.
In her current role, Kalila is responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the Faculty’s Digital Education Strategy
- Coordinating digital education projects and streamlining related processes
- Supporting core learning technologies including KEATS, Gradescope, lecture capture, and e-assessment tools
- Providing training and support for academic and professional staff on Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL)
- Analysing digital education data to inform decision-making and enhance learning experiences
