Karen is a Consultant Community Paediatrician at North East London NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Professor in the Department of Women and Children's Health at King's College London.

Karen most recently worked for the World Health Organization in Geneva and has 20 years experience in clinical community paediatrics, clinical trials, evidence synthesis, clinical practice guideline development and education and teaching. Her particular areas of interest are child neurodevelopment, nutrition, looked after children and child protection.
