Biography

Karnjana Nimarangkul is a PhD student in the Methodology Research Division at King’s College London, starting in 2024. She began her academic journey by graduating with first-class honours in nursing science from the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, in 2014. She later obtained a Master of Nursing Science (Midwifery) in 2021.

Karnjana Nimarangkul has over ten years of clinical experience as a registered nurse in the labour unit at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital and served as a nursing instructor focusing on midwifery, particularly antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for pregnant women, including those experiencing complications such as pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), preterm labour, and placenta previa. Alongside her teaching, she has contributed as a co-researcher in academic studies related to midwifery, nursing education, and healthcare services.

Her primary research interests lie in high-risk pregnancies, particularly in preventing type 2 diabetes among women with gestational diabetes.
