Biography

Dr Kate Duhig is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at King's College London and Honorary Consultant Obstetrician at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

She runs a research programme investigating prediction and prevention of adverse pregnancy outcomes using national observation data, the evaluation of national public health policy, and multi centre clinical trials in pregnancy. 

She has a breadth of methodological expertise including novel clinical trial designs, epidemiological data analysis, prognostic modelling, and public health policy research.

She has maternal medicine expertise and experience supervising higher degree students from both obstetrics and midwifery backgrounds.

She is the National Specialty Advisor for Obstetrics and Prevention at NHS England, and an academic editor of Trials.
