Biography
Kate joined the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience in 2025 as the Stress, Psychiatry and Immunology Lab’s Engagement and Partnerships Manager. She works across a portfolio of programmes focused on research dissemination, strategic engagement, and partnership development, including the digital mental health magazine Inspire the Mind, the Psychiatry Research Trust, and the ASPIRE consortium.
She has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, having worked at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto, where she led complex research projects and a multi-partner knowledge exchange network to advance the health and wellbeing of children, adolescents, and young adults.
Her work focuses on translating strategy into delivery through strong relationships and collaboration across disciplines and organisations. She is passionate about knowledge mobilisation and enabling people to make informed decisions about their health through evidence-based information communicated in meaningful, creative, and accessible ways.
She holds a BA from McGill University and an MPH from Queen’s University.
