Biography

Kate Stewart joined King’s College London in 2023 as a Research Project Manager for the AMBER Project. After completing her MSc in Integrative Counselling and Coaching at the University of East London, Kate has focused on people and project management in the voluntary sector and the NHS.

At King’s College London, Kate provides oversight of day-to-day project management, meeting organisation, budgets and administrative processes for the AMBER project. She also supports researchers with data management, accessing clinical and research studies, and coordinating social media and communications strategy and coordination.

The Statistical Genetics Unit

Led by Professor Cathryn Lewis, it is a cross-school unit, comprising 20 researchers in the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry Centre and in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics. Our aims are to develop and apply statistical methods to identify and characterise the genetic component to common, complex disorders.
