Biography

Kathryn obtained a BSc in Immunology from the University of Glasgow, followed by a PhD from the University of Manchester titled 'Characterisation of a susceptibility locus for Inflammatory Arthritis'.

Kathryn first joined King's as a postdoc in the Taams lab (2015-2019) focusing on the investigation of Tc17 and tissue resident memory T cells in inflammatory arthritis. Now based in the Cope lab and funded by IMI RTCure, her research utilises high throughput phenotyping technology to identify the mechanisms underpinning disease progression and remission in rheumatoid arthritis.
