Biography

Dr Kazi Nahar is a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Pharmacy, King's College London. She graduated as a Pharmacist from the University of Dhaka in 2000. After moving to the UK in 2005, she obtained her MSc in Drug Discovery with Distinction from UCL School of Pharmacy in 2008. In 2011, she joined King's initially as a research technician. Subsequently, she pursued a PhD in Cancer Drug Discovery under the guidance of Professor David Thurston, which she successfully completed and was awarded in 2017.

Following her doctoral studies, Dr. Nahar worked as a research fellow for four years, with Professor Miraz Rahman and Dr. Simon Pitchford. In 2021, she joined King's College London as a Teaching Fellow.
