Biography
Kelly joined King’s College London in July 2024 to work with the Head of the Comprehensive Cancer Centre and the Head of the School of Cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences in advancing key strategic initiatives across the university’s cancer research community. Her role focuses on enhancing collaboration among researchers, developing and strengthening partnerships with external organisations such as the CRUK City of London Centre and the Radiation Research Centre, and supporting major funding efforts—including large-scale grant applications like PharosAI. She also contributes to cross-faculty coordination and strategic development in cancer research.
Kelly brings extensive experience in research management, strategic planning, and partnership development. Prior to joining King’s, she led the Fellowship Programme at EMBO, coordinated industry collaborations for Euro-BioImaging at EMBL, and managed research portfolios at the NIHR Imperial BRC and Cancer Research UK. She also contributed to the successful 2017 reapplication of the NIHR Imperial BRC and completed her postdoctoral research in the US.
