Biography
Kevin has a degree in History (1995, University of North London). He started his career at the Edexcel exam board as a contact for 400+ colleges on exam entries and results. Since then, Kevin has spent over 20 years in HE with increasingly senior roles at the University of London External Programme, Imperial College London and the University of Kent. Kevin joined King’s in 2011 as Research & Business Manager in Digital Humanities, working closely on the department’s transformation into a highly successful, teaching-led department. In 2015 Kevin became Faculty Business Manager for Social Science & Public Policy, leading and co-coordinating the business planning and financial management of the Faculty, as well as many ad hoc projects. Kevin took up the post of Head of Operations for the King's Language Centre in June 2019.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Director and Deputy Directors in the development and implementation of a strategy which ensures academic and financial sustainability.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership within the Language Centre.
- Lead and manage the Language Centre professional services teams.
