Biography

Khethiwe Mhlope Ziwenjere is currently undertaking her PhD under the supervision of Professor Marco Di Renzo in the Department of Engineering at King’s College London.

Khethiwe, a Mandela Washington Fellow and Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, an M.Sc. in Telecommunications, and an MBA in Strategic Management. Her current affiliation is with British Telecom as a Research Fellow within the Horizon Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions INTEGRATE project.

Prior to this, Khethiwe worked as a Radio Access Network (RAN) planning and optimisation engineer for major telecommunications operators and an infrastructure/solutions vendor. She is a project management professional (PMI PMP) and professional in business analysis (PMI PBA) whose focus is on exploring ways to improve network Quality of Service (QoS) and customer Quality of Experience (QoE) by using emerging technologies to deliver services that add business value.
