Biography

Konstantinos Maratos is a Visiting Professor of Finance at King’s Business School. He leads the modules on Applied Wealth Management, Fixed Income Instruments and Trading Strategies and Topics in Applied Finance.

Konstantinos is a Managing Director with a leading Swiss private bank based in Zurich, Switzerland. He started his career in 1997 and has worked in Greece, the United Kingdom and Switzerland for leading international banks including Barclays Bank and Bank of America. Konstantinos is also an Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for Navios Maritime Containers, a shipping company listed in NASDAQ, New York.

His professional interests focus on wealth management, asset allocation, and ethics and corporate governance. Konstantinos holds a BSc in Economics and Politics and an MSc in Financial Management from the University of London and he is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of the United Kingdom, CFA Society Switzerland and CFA Society Greece.
