Biography
Laura Aguilera Cassis is a Programme Manager at the Afe Babalola Centre for Transnational Education and King’s Foundations, where she supports the delivery of transnational and online programmes.
She has over a decade of experience operating within higher education, spanning programme management, academic support, teaching, and cross‑functional collaboration across multiple faculties at King’s College London. She developed this experience across a range of academic and institutional contexts in both Canada and Europe, giving her a broad transnational outlook and a nuanced understanding of cross‑cultural educational environments.
With an interdisciplinary background that includes an Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Crossways in Cultural Narratives, Laura draws on her academic experience across the humanities to bring an integrative perspective to academic administration and student support. She particularly enjoys working with internationally diverse cohorts and is committed to fostering inclusive, accessible, and culturally informed student support.
Laura is passionate about collaborative working and continuous improvement, and she brings a thoughtful, people‑centred approach to supporting students and colleagues across King’s.
