REF Impact Officer

Biography

Lidiya Talbot is the REF Impact Officer for Main Panel B within the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences at King's College London. As part of the College REF, KEF and Research Impact team, she supports the impact and engagement submission for REF 2029. This includes providing advice and administrative support to shortlisted academics for the development of impact case studies.

Before joining King’s, Lidiya held positions at Oxford Brookes University, first as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Molecular Genetics of Human Eye Development group and later as Research Impact Manager within the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Enterprise. These roles combined her research expertise with a growing focus on research impact and engagement.

Lidiya holds a PhD in Genetics from Oxford Brookes University.
