Research associate
- Research fellow in implementation science
Biography
Ling Wang is a Research Associate at King’s College London (2026), supported by the KC Wong Postdoctoral Fellowship and based in the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care. She is also a global mental health and implementation science research fellow at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine focused on integrating mental health and psychosocial support into routine healthcare, community, and emergency response settings across Africa and South East Asia. Building on her PhD at King’s College London, her work uses realist-informed evidence synthesis, mixed methods, and stakeholder co-design to understand what works, for whom, in what contexts, and why—particularly for scalable psychosocial interventions delivered by non-specialists and frontline health workers. Ling holds an MSc in Applied Psychology and a PhD in Health Research, and brings prior experience in tertiary hospital practice and health policy work in China.
