
Dr Louisa Gossé
Biography
Louisa is a postdoctoral research fellow with Professor Katya Rubia in the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Department. Her work revolves around using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to study the developing brain. She’s particularly interested in understanding how sleep impacts development.
Prior to starting at KCL, Louisa worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Birkbeck ToddlerLab, CBCD (Birkbeck, University of London) on the Study of Autism and ADHD Risk in Siblings (STAARS) and the Early Life Cohort Feasibility study with Professor Emily Jones.
Louisa has a PhD in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience (Birkbeck, University of London), MSc in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience (Maastricht University) and BSc in Psychology (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen).
