Biography

Dr Louise Schindler is a Postdoctoral Research Associate working with Professor Cathryn Lewis in the Department of Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London 

Louise completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Bristol and her MSc in Translational Neuroscience at Imperial College London. She completed her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, which focussed on women’s health; specifically on the connection between menopause, cardiometabolic health, and brain ageing. She has been at King's College London since January 2025, where her current works investigates predictors of depression episode duration as part of the AMBER project.
