Lucy Gallagher

PPI Coordinator

Biography

After completing a degree in BA Geography at the University of Sussex, Lucy developed her interest in the interdependencies between population, development, and health in the professional setting.

Lucy joined KCL in October 2021 to work on the NIHR ARC South London Mental Health and Implementation Network (MHIN) programme as PPI Coordinator. The ARC MHIN programme aims to prioritise and facilitate the implementation of evidence-based solutions to address the most pressing mental health needs in under-served areas in England. Lucy works closely with the PPI team to help ensure lived experience is integrated at every level of the ARC MHIN programme.

Before joining ARC SL, Lucy worked in the NIHR Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre in various capacities, including Public Engagement and NHS Engagement, managing key stakeholder relationships to help embed research into daily practice to improve patient care.
