Biography
Lucy holds a BA in English and American Literature and French from the University of Kent, and an MA in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics from Kings College London. She has also completed a Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).
She has been teaching English for Academic Purposes for over 7 years. Prior to joining Kings, she worked at Brunel University, where she taught on a range of foundation, pre-sessional and in-sessional programmes. She is also an international ESOL examiner for Trinity College London.
Her professional interests include the assessment of spoken English, which formed the focus of her MA dissertation and materials production. She is an examiner and item writer for Trinity College London and a freelance author for Cambridge University Press, specialising in coursebooks for IELTS and First Certificate exam preparation.
