Lydia Scharf joined the Cutaneous Autoimmunity Group to study pathogenic B cells in pemphigus vulgaris in May 2025. After obtaining her PhD studying T cells in HIV infection at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Lydia continued to work as an immunologist in the context of viral infections and immunodeficiencies at Gothenburg University before joining KCL.
