Biography
Lynette holds a BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a MA in English Language Teaching from Reading University. She has a Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and is completing her Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).
Lynette has been teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) for over 10 years. Prior to coming to the UK, she taught at Rice University in Houston, Texas where she taught a range of academic English courses. She has also taught English and various other courses in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and now in the United Kingdom.
Currently, Lynette is interested in the use of educational technology to increase learner motivation.
In her free time, Lynette loves learning languages and experiencing new cultures. Also, she enjoys playing sports, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Recently, she has been looking for the best tacos in London.
