Biography

Madhavi Andhari is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the King’s Centre for Lung Health, King’s College London. Her research focuses on integrating spatial omics technologies to gain novel insights into the early mechanisms driving pulmonary fibrosis. She is also a Visiting Scientist at the Francis Crick Institute. Madhavi completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences at KU Leuven in March 2025. Prior to her doctoral training, she obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Science from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata, India.

At King’s College London, Madhavi is working toward the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for pulmonary fibrosis, with the long-term goal of translating mechanistic insights into clinical impact.
