Biography

Project Title: A Habermasian approach to evaluating the psychoactive drug act of 2016 with respect to new psychoactive drug use in the UK

Year of Entry: 2022, Full-Time

Dr Maham Zaman is a PhD Student in Public Services Management and Organisation at King's Business School. Maham is a passionate Public Health professional with experience in facilitating health promotion and disease prevention. Their core interests lie in public health, health policy and health inequalities.

Maham is also a medical doctor with proven track record of providing first-class patient care through dedication and hard work and is familiar with developing and implementing healthcare programmes that enhance community health through improved outreach and service offerings.

Maham is fully registered with the General Medical Council UK with a license to practice. They have four international publications in various clinical journals. Maham is currently working as a research associate, Cancer Alliance London Fellowship 2022 on a project entitled: "Hairdressing salons to promote NHS online application to reduce underdiagnosis of breast cancer among women in London's deprive and ethnically diverse neighbourhoods: a feasibility study."
