Dr Majella Byrne MA, MSc, PhD, DClinPsy

Biography

Dr Majella Byrne is the joint clinical director of the DClinPsy Programme along with Dr Tim Meynen. Majella and Tim are responsible for the line management of the DClinPsy trainees as well as identifying and providing governance around clinical placements for the trainees. Majella's role involves close liaison with their practice placement providers in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital Trust, and King's College Hospital, in addition to non-NHS placement providers.

Majella is the joint chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Sub-Committee of the DClinPsy Programme, and is also a visiting Senior Lecturer and also has professional services contract as part of her SLaM role. Majella also provides teaching and is engaged in research activities.
