Mananchaya Chittarat is a PhD student in the Division of Care in Long Term Conditions at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, King's College London.

She holds a Master of Nursing Science (Gerontological Nurse Practitioner) from Chiang Mai University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Si Thammarat (BCNNST), Praboromarajchanok Institute for Health Workforce Development. She has been granted a full PhD scholarship from Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Thailand.Her professional experience as a registered nurse includes working in the intensive care unit of the medical ward at Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital. She has also served as an assistant instructor at BCNNST and contributed to research on health promotion program for the elderly.

Her research interests focus on self-management among older adults living with chronic conditions and multimorbidity, particularly diabetes and hypertension.
